Lock Out Well the midnight hour has come and gone and no deal was reached between the NHL or the NHLPA. I have to say that we are still a bit lucky. It doesn’t mean the end of hockey as we know it. We still have our hometown college teams to pull for and some of the local high schools. The best part about it all is that we still have our farm clubs which I intend to keep an eye on some of our guys in that system. As of the 14th of Sept my team has sent 25 of its players to the affiliate team to at least keep there skills in tact. So what do we do now? We wait.

- Bill Daly said – “In light of the fact that neither party has indicated an intention to move off of its last proposal, we have decided that there is no point in convening a formal bargaining session,”
- “(Executive director) Don Fehr, myself and several players on the negotiating committee were in (New York) and prepared to meet,” he said in a statement. “The NHL said that it saw no purpose in having a formal meeting. There have been and continue to be private, informal discussions between representatives of both sides.
